Wolseley Group's Plumb Centre in Kidderminster is recruiting a Sales Assistant. You’ll serve trade customers, answer inquiries, and drive sales while handling stock and order packing. 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri 07:30–16:30 with alternate Saturdays 08:00–12:00. Plumbing knowledge and strong service skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers on the trade counter with product recommendations.
• Respond to enquiries by phone and email promptly and courteously.
• Make outbound calls to previous customers to regain business.

• Handle warehouse duties including stock booking, picking and packing.

As a Sales Assistant based in our Kidderminster branch you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business
• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away and picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets

This is a full time time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07.30am - 4.30pm and alternate Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.00pm.
