Plumb Centre in Kidderminster is looking for a Sales Assistant to help customers on the trade counter with advice and product recommendations, and to respond to enquiries by phone or email.

Based at the DY10 1HY branch, you will make outbound calls to re-engage customers, drive branch sales, and perform general warehouse duties including stock control and order picking.

Qualifications

• Plumbing & heating knowledge is ideal.
• Previous face to face sales and customer service experience.
• Warehouse experience.
• The ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
• To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.

• Make outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business.
• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away and picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets.

This is a full time time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07.30am - 4.30pm and alternate Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.00pm.
