Job summary

Plumb Centre is hiring a Sales Assistant in Royal Leamington Spa to support trade customers and drive deliveries. You will assist at the counter, recommend products, and manage orders with a professional, customer-first approach.

The role offers a £26,695 base salary plus bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package, including generous leave, pension, healthcare options, and staff discounts. Mondy–Friday with occasional Saturdays after training.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise displays to high standards in the branch.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
• Driving 3.5t van doing deliveries
• Handling customer enquiries via phone and email with a positive, proactive attitude, building strong customer relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer orders and unpacking stock to be booked in on our system and put away in the warehouse
• Merchandising displays to a high standard in the branch.

Additional Details:

This is a full time, permanent role - Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm and two Saturdays per month, 08.00am - 12.00pm (paid as overtime) once trained.

Candidate Requirements:

• Knowledge in plumbing & heating is beneficial
• Proven experience in a face to face sales/customer service position
• Great communication skills and a customer-first approach
• Great team player and willing to support in all areas of the branch
• Willingness to learn with an enthusiastic approach
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
