Plumb Centre in Finchley (London) is seeking a Sales Assistant to serve customers on the trade counter, advise on products and drive branch sales.

The role includes phone and email enquiries, stock handling, packing orders, heavy items like boilers and radiators, and a strong focus on customer service. Full-time, 40 hours, Mon-Fri with alternate Saturdays.

• Previous face-to-face sales and customer service experience.

Sales Assistant - Finchley, London (N12 8QA) - Plumb Centre

As a Sales Assistant based in our Finchley branch you'll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business
• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away and picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets Plumbing & Heating knowledge is ideal
• Previous Face to Face sales and customer service experience
• Warehouse experience
• The ability to deliver outstanding customer service
• To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic

This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and alternate Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.00pm.
