Plumb Centre in Finchley is seeking a Sales Assistant to support trade customers at our branch. You will advise on products, process orders and help customers find the right plumbing and heating solutions, contributing to strong store performance.

Working 40 hours weekly, you’ll handle calls and emails, assist in stock control, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding service. Previous face-to-face sales and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsabilités

• Serve customers at the trade counter with advice and product recommendations.

• Identify and pursue opportunities to drive branch sales.
• General warehouse duties: stock intake, put away and picking/packing orders.

As a Sales Assistant based in our Finchley branch you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business
• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away and picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets

This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and alternate Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.00pm.
