Plumb Centre Finchley, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our trade counter. You will help customers with product recommendations, handle enquiries by phone and email, and drive branch sales while supporting warehouse tasks.

You should have face-to-face sales or customer service experience; plumbing and heating knowledge is ideal; you’ll work Monday to Friday 8:00-17:00 with alternate Saturday mornings; a supportive team and great benefits come with the role.

• Warehouse experience helpful for stock handling and order processing.
• Plumbing & heating knowledge is ideal to assist tradespeople.

Responsabilités

• Serve customers at the trade counter with product recommendations.

As a **Sales Assistant** based in our **Finchley** branch you’ll be responsible for: * Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations* Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude* Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business* Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers* General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away and picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and alternate Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.00pm. **And here’s what we’d like you to have:** * Plumbing & Heating knowledge is ideal* Previous Face to Face sales and customer service experience* Warehouse experience* The ability to deliver outstanding customer service* To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch* Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic **We look forward to receiving your application!**.
