Wolseley is seeking a Sales Assistant for our Bishops Stortford (CM23 5PJ) Plumb Centre. You will serve customers on the trade counter, provide tailored product recommendations, and respond promptly to enquiries by phone and email.

In addition to sales, you will conduct light warehouse duties, including stock checks and order picking. Plumbing and heating knowledge is advantageous; prior face-to-face sales and warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Face-to-face sales and strong customer service experience.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Plumbing & Heating knowledge is ideal.

Responsabilidades

• Serve customers on the trade counter with product recommendations and knowledge of needs.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email promptly and courteously.
• Make outbound calls to previous customers to regain business.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the branch, engaging new and existing customers.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, stock intake, putting away stock and picking/packing orders.

Sales Assistant - Bishops Stortford (CM23 5PJ) - Plumb Centre

As a Sales Assistant based in our Bishops Stortford branch you'll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business
• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away and picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets

• Plumbing & Heating knowledge is ideal
• Previous Face to Face sales and customer service experience
• Warehouse experience
