We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales and Bookings Executive to join our team at the Barnsley Metrodome. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage and grow our function room bookings while delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales for function room bookings, ensuring revenue targets are met.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the booking process, from initial enquiry to event completion.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on bookings and sales performance.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or event management is desirable.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and booking systems.

Contract Details
  • Temporary role for 11 months (maternity cover).

  • The working pattern is flexible around the needs o the business. Typically hours around 9am-5pm.

You will be required to work evenings and weekends to attend customer appointments/support events/functions such as weddings, conferences.
