A healthcare provider in Sheffield is looking for two motivated GPs for a supportive, patient-centric environment. Responsibilities include consultations, managing chronic conditions, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates must be GMC registered and have experience in primary care. The practice is known for its innovative approach and training opportunities.
We are seeking two motivated and flexible GPs to join our friendly, forward-looking 5-partner practice. We have 8 clinical sessions available, from November 25 on fixed term contracts including a full day on Tuesday and a full day on Friday, with flexibility in how the remaining sessions are arranged.
Work collaboratively with the practice team, including nurses, pharmacists, healthcare assistants, administrative staff, and allied professionals.
Provide effective clinical input into chronic disease management and preventative healthcare.
Participate in duty doctor rota, urgent care, and telephone consultations.
Prescribe in line with practice formulary and current medicines management guidance.
Contribute to achieving practice QOF (Quality and Outcomes Framework), IIF (Investment and Impact Fund), and other quality indicators.
Support safeguarding procedures for children and adults at risk.
Maintain accurate, legible, and contemporaneous medical records using SystmOne.
Participate in clinical audits, significant event reviews, and other quality improvement activities.
Attend and contribute to practice meetings.
Keep up to date with developments in primary care and undertake relevant continuing professional development.

Provide routine and urgent GP consultations, face-to-face, by telephone and online.
Undertake clinical assessments, diagnoses, treatments, prescribing, and referrals as appropriate.
Contribute to the management of long-term conditions, health promotion, and preventative care.
Participate in the duty doctor rota and provide home visits when clinically required.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff, to deliver safe and effective care.
Support practice achievement of QOF, IIF, enhanced services, and other contractual requirements.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records using the practice clinical system.
Engage in clinical audit, significant event analysis, and other quality improvement activities.
Take part in practice meetings and contribute to service development.
Maintain GMC registration, undertake CPD, and meet appraisal and revalidation requirements.
Adhere to safeguarding procedures for vulnerable adults and children.
