A local healthcare practice in Birmingham is looking for a committed and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join their dynamic team, working 4-5 sessions per week. Responsibilities include providing face-to-face, phone, and video consultations, as well as following up on patient care. The practice values continuous professional development, offering mentoring and peer support. Ideal candidates will have a recognized medical degree and relevant training in General Practice. This is a great opportunity in a friendly and supportive environment.
An opportunity has arisen for acommitted and enthusiastic GP to join our team working 4-5 sessions per week. Days of work will include Thursday and Friday. We are a friendly, supportive two partner practice with 8 salaried GPs, working from spacious purpose built premises.

As you are an integral part of us, it is expected that you will helpsupport and input into the aims of the practice in areas of clinicalgovernance, good practice, quality & outcomes framework, enhanced services,practice audit, referral review and any other improvement plans as determinedby the practice. The practice encouragesactive engagement in developing and delivering new services.
Clinical duties will include seeing/triaging people with acute conditions and on-going chronic conditions which will also include reviews based on the QOF.
There will be an on-call commitment in-hours approximately 2 days per month.

We hold informal coffee meetings each morning, which allows time for information sharing in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Appointments are scheduled at 10 minute intervals and you will be providingface to face consultations in the morning and in the afternoon, and/ortelephone/video consultations, plus you will take your share of extraconsultations where demand is excessive in line with any GP within the practice.You will be required to undertake a share of home visits as part of theallotted session time. It is expected that you deal on a daily basis withtelephone queries from patients or other health care professionals in youradministrative time. In the interests of patient care we strongly believe inthe benefit of continuity of care. This means that you are expected to followup results, x-rays and correspondence via Docman, as well as those that youhave generated yourself (investigations and queries related to yourconsultations).
Referrals should be completed on a daily basis. Investigations andreferrals should be completed and associated documentation dealt with withinappropriate timescales
