We have a sociable inclusive team, with greatspirit. A sense of humour and willingness to be involved in coffee-time banteris essential. It is a supportive environment with an open-door policy. We havedaily coffee meetings and regular education sessions. We encourage and supportthe development of special interests, with many of our doctors on thefellowship scheme, and provide formal and informal mentorship of lessexperienced GPs. We are an active training practice with Nurse Trainees, FY2s andRegistrars, many of whom return post-qualification. The team is evolving andbroadening to produce a sustainable, effective service for our patients, and agood working environment for our staff.

Main duties of the job

Due to a growing population, we are looking for a new GP to join our team. We know GP life is tough and we are committed to continuing to adapt and evolve our Practice to preserve our team. So come and join us!!

Would consider part-time 4 sessions per week to include all day on a Friday

Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience

Contract based on BMA model contract

Buddy system for cover of results/admin on days off/annual leave

About us

The Wilson Practice is a friendly,mutually-supportive, happy two Partner and thirteen Associate GP Partnershipcovering 17,250 patients in a beautiful part of Hampshire. We have a strong Multi-disciplinary team withANPs, Triage nurses, Treatment room team as well as additional PCN rolessupporting the daily service we provide.

We run a total triage system using Accurx with15 minute telephone and 15 minute face-to-face appointments. Ourfantastic triage team run daily minor illness/triage clinics, and lead theMinor Injuries Service in our well-equipped Treatment Room. Our Nursing Homeward rounds are completed by a dedicated ACP and GP partners. Visiting rate islow. We have a full team of Admin staff including GPAs via our PCN. We are fullyengaged with our functioning Primary Care Network, which provides, remote GPfor medication reviews, Physiotherapists, Social Prescribers, child and youngperson and adult mental health workers amongst others.
