Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Identity & Access Management Engineer to work on a SailPoint IdentityIQ implementation within a financial services environment. This fully remote role involves onboarding applications and embedding identity governance processes. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and a strong knowledge of identity lifecycle processes. An initial 3-month contract is offered with the potential for extension. Start date is January 2026, pending client approval.

Identity & Access Management Engineer, SailPoint IdentityIQ

Opportunity overview

You will work on a high-profile SailPoint IdentityIQ implementation within a regulated financial services environment. You will support an enterprise IAM rollout and work closely with senior stakeholders across technology and the business.

Role overview

You will join an IAM delivery team focused on onboarding priority applications into SailPoint IdentityIQ. You will help embed identity governance processes and support a wider transformation programme across the organisation.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as part of the application onboarding team delivering SailPoint IdentityIQ across the business.
  • Configure and customise SailPoint IdentityIQ components and connectors.
  • Gather requirements with application owners and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Resolve IAM issues during delivery and business‑as‑usual phases.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, audit, and regulatory standards.
Required experience
  • Hands‑on SailPoint IdentityIQ experience in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle processes, joiner mover leaver, RBAC, and access reviews.
  • Integration experience with Active Directory, HR systems, and ServiceNow.
  • Experience building and supporting out‑of‑the‑box and custom connectors, including REST, SCIM, and JDBC.
  • Background working within regulated industries and compliance frameworks.
  • Clear communication skills for stakeholder engagement and technical documentation.
  • SailPoint Engineer certification preferred.
Contract details
  • Start date January 2026, subject to client approval.
  • Initial 3‑month contract with extension potential to 6 or 12 months.
  • UK and Ireland banking client.
  • Fully remote role.
