A leading aerospace manufacturer in Barrow-in-Furness seeks a safety & reliability specialist to ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations. Successful candidates will review systems design, contribute to safety validation and manage safety risks with stakeholders. Candidates should possess an aeronautical engineering degree, good knowledge of aircraft systems, and safety processes experience. The team of around 70 safety engineers is based in five separate locations around Europe and is accountable for the safety activities (functional and physical) for all Airbus aircraft systems. The Safety & Reliability team is key in ensuring that systems architectures and their integration on the aircraft comply with the latest airworthiness regulations and safety processes. As a system safety & reliability specialist, you will play an integral part in ensuring that all Airbus products are developed, designed, produced and supported according to state‑of‑the‑art and the relevant safety standards (associated to airworthiness regulations).
