Job summary

A leading special education and care provider in the UK is seeking a Schools Safeguarding Officer to join their team. The role is remote but requires travel across the South West and South East. The ideal candidate will have experience in safeguarding children and work closely with Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) to ensure compliance with safeguarding practices. Qualifications

• Experience working as a DSL in school or wider DSL/Safeguarding responsibilities.
• Experience as a Schools Safeguarding Officer or equivalent within a local authority.
• Passion for safeguarding children.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with DSLs and Head Teachers on safeguarding practices.
• Support compliance with safeguarding legislation.
• Develop and deliver safeguarding training.

This is a remote role, travel will be required across the South West and South East, the ideal candidate for this role will be Oxfordshire based.
