Lift Newington are seeking a deputy designated safeguarding lead (Safeguarding Officer) to support the successful safeguarding of all our pupils. The role of the Safeguarding Officer is essential in promoting the safety and welfare of all students in the academys activities at all times and ensuring that appropriate arrangements for safeguarding and child protection are in place. The role is a proactive, pupil facing position that also involves providing advice to staff when dealing with student welfare and safeguarding issues and making referrals to appropriate agencies when required
