Position Summary

To provide efficient and confidential administrative support to the CHSIST, through the maintenance of accurate and up to date data systems, information sharing processes and effective team working. The post-holder will work under the direction of the CHSIST Senior Safeguarding Administrator and will be required to work to support the CHSIST administrative team, Business Support Manager and any other members of the CHSIST team in various departments to facilitate efficient information sharing across the hospital and community interface. They will liaise with the multi‑disciplinary team, internal departments and external agencies to ensure continuity in achieving excellence in patient care. Safeguarding Administrator (Band 3)

Key Responsibilities
  • THIS ROLE IS OFFICE BASED
  • Work under the direction of the CHSIST Senior Safeguarding Administrator to support the CHSIST administrative team, Business Support Manager and other members of the CHSIST team in various departments to facilitate efficient information sharing across the hospital and community interface.
  • Coordinate activities with other members of the Safeguarding Administration Team and provide cover to other members of the administrative team when requested.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date databases.
  • Work to deadlines and priorities within the office, adapting to changing priorities and demonstrating a flexible and initiative approach.
  • Provide comprehensive and high quality administrative support to the Croydon Health Integrated Safeguarding Team (CHSIST).
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Attention to detail with an ability to update databases accurately.
  • Methodical and logical approach to work.
  • Previous experience of working with Partner Agencies is sought but not essential.
  • Interest in Safeguarding and ability to work with vulnerable populations.
  • Team player approach to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
