Job summary

A leading transportation company in the United Kingdom is looking for an experienced engineer to enhance the reliability of signalling assets. You will support the Head of S&T by analyzing data, investigating failures, and implementing improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant maintenance experience in safety critical environments. A full driving license is required. This position offers the chance to work on crucial projects in a vital industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in safety critical engineering systems with a degree.
• Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in safety critical engineering systems with HNC/HND.
• Experience in maintaining & repairing electrical & electronic equipment.

You will support the Head of S&T to improve the reliability of signalling assets by identifying, recommending and implementing improvement initiatives. This will be completed by analysing data, investigating failures, identifying improvements and completing inspections on track.

Essential Criteria

• Possess a minimum of a degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering and a minimum of 3 years relevant maintenance experience in safety critical engineering systems
• OR alternatively , possess a minimum of a HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering and a minimum of 5 years relevant maintenance experience in safety critical engineering systems
• Experience of data analysis and the application of Reliability Centered Maintenance.
• Experience of maintaining & repairing electrical & electronic equipment in a safety critical environment
• Experience of presenting data to support relevant decisions
• Full current driving licence

Desirable Criteria

• Experience of undertaking technical investigations / audits in a safety critical engineering environment
