Job description
Overview

RGS is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Rowing Coach to join the Sports Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching to pupils of varying ages and abilities, from beginners to competitive crews. They will play a key role in developing the School’s rowing programme, supporting pupils in their personal growth, and promoting a culture of excellence, enjoyment, and participation.

Context and Facilities

The School has superb facilities, including a Sixth Form Centre, refurbished Science Block, Library, Health and Fitness Centre, two Sports Halls, Dance Studio, Lecture Theatre, Art Block, Design Centre and Performing Arts Centre. The School also has access to local facilities including the River Severn for rowing and a Boathouse shared with Worcester Rowing Club. All classrooms are equipped with full IT facilities to support digital learning. The Governors have invested about £14 million in facilities over the last seven years.
