Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a dynamic Band 5 Physiotherapist to work across inpatient, community, and musculoskeletal rotations in the picturesque Surrey Downs. Applicants should have a degree in Physiotherapy and relevant registrations. The role offers personal development, supportive training, and a diverse caseload. Responsibilities include providing high-quality physiotherapy interventions, managing a personal caseload, conducting assessments, and participating in multidisciplinary teams. Salary ranges from £32,602 to £39,686 per annum pro rata, including fringe HCAS.

Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of physical conditions.
  • Working knowledge of broad range of physiotherapy techniques.
  • Experience in physiotherapy within the NHS.
  • Pre-graduate experience in community settings.
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Previous experience as a Junior Physiotherapist.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, plan and deliver treatment programmes.
  • Prioritise own caseload and delegate appropriate work.
  • Carry out physiotherapy assessments and interventions competently.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary team.
  • Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and participate in clinical decision making.
  • Make accurate treatment records and keep monthly statistics.
  • Be accountable for own professional and clinical practice.
  • Assess and manage clinical risk in relation to own caseload.
  • Contribute to development of patient care.
  • Take part in Emergency OnCall and Weekend respiratory physiotherapy.

Skills

Ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally with patients and professionals
Strong command of English language
Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
Good time management
Ability to carry out moderate to intense physical effort
Understanding of clinical governance

Education

Degree in Physiotherapy
HCPC Registration
Membership to CSP
