Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment is representing a client based in a village outside Northampton seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join a Rosette-standard kitchen in a busy country inn.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will support a team of junior chefs, work with fresh seasonal ingredients, and help with service during weddings and private functions. Own transport is required due to location.

Qualifications

• You will already be a Sous Chef.
• Able to work unsupervised and have strong management skills.
• Have experience of working in a busy hotel, pub or restaurant.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Head Chef you will be assisted by junior chefs.
• Working in the Rosette standard kitchen using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
• Preparing and plating meals for restaurant/bar and functions.
• Mix of Straights & Shifts.
