Chefs for Chefs Ltd are recruiting a Sous Chef for a 1AA Rosette country inn with rooms in Dumfriesshire, Scotland. The role focuses on daily kitchen operations, working within a passionate family-run brigade to maintain high standards and push for growth.

You will assist in running sections, train junior staff, and collaborate with the senior team to develop the food offer. A strong all-round fresh-food background and Rosette experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have all fresh food experience.
• Rosette experience is preferred but not essential.
• A strong Chef de Partie would be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily running of the kitchen
• Can run a section in a busy kitchen
• Assume responsibilities for the smooth running of designated sections throughout the kitchen
• Work closely with the senior team to develop the food offering
• Train and instruct junior brigade members
• Participate in daily food prep and service
