Job summary

ICE, the UK's largest independent provider of cleaning equipment, is seeking a Solutions Deployment Specialist to install, configure, optimise and support cutting-edge cleaning technology at customer sites. This remote, field-based role involves travelling to customer sites within your local region with a company van provided for mobility.

Qualifications

• Qualification (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, IT or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on technical skills and confidence working with equipment.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission advanced cleaning equipment and robotic solutions.
• Deliver on-site equipment trials, demonstrations and customer handovers.
• Train operators, supervisors and management teams to use equipment safely and effectively.
• Create site maps and optimise machine routes for maximum efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Provide first and second-line technical support on customer sites.
• Analyse machine performance and recommend improvements.
• Carry out routine machine inspections and maintenance checks.
• Support proof-of-concept projects with ATP and gloss meter testing.
• Work closely with manufacturers and internal technical teams to resolve complex issues.
