Job summary

ICE, the UK's leading independent provider of cleaning equipment, invites a Solutions Deployment Specialist to install, configure and support cutting-edge cleaning technology at customer sites. This role is remote and field-based, covering local regions with occasional travel further afield, and includes a fully equipped company van.

You will install and commission advanced systems, train customer teams, and optimise routes and performance, ensuring successful deployments and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, IT or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on technical skills and confidence with equipment.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Proactive troubleshooting and problem-solving approach.
• Good physical fitness for installations and equipment handling.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission advanced cleaning equipment and robotic solutions.
• Deliver on-site equipment trials, demonstrations and handovers to customers.
• Train operators, supervisors and management teams to use equipment safely and effectively.
• Create site maps and optimise machine routes for efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Provide first and second-line technical support on customer sites.
• Analyse machine performance and recommend improvements.
• Carry out routine machine inspections and maintenance checks.
• Support proof-of-concept projects with ATP and gloss meter testing.
• Work closely with manufacturers and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
