Job summary

ICE - Industrial Cleaning Equipment, the UK's largest independent provider of cleaning equipment, is seeking a Solutions Deployment Specialist to install, configure and support cutting-edge cleaning technology at customer sites.

This remote, field-based role covers local region travel with occasional longer trips; you will be equipped with a company van and receive ongoing training and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, IT or related discipline.
• Hands-on technical skills with equipment.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Proactive troubleshooting and problem-solving approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission advanced cleaning equipment and robotic solutions.
• Deliver on-site equipment trials, demonstrations and handovers.
• Train operators, supervisors and management teams to use equipment safely and effectively.
• Create site maps and optimise machine routes for efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Provide first and second-line technical support on customer sites.
• Analyse machine performance and suggest improvements.
• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance checks.
• Support proof-of-concept projects with ATP and gloss meter testing.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and internal teams to resolve issues.
