Job summary

ICE - Industrial Cleaning Equipment is seeking a Solutions Deployment Specialist to install, configure and support cutting-edge cleaning tech at customer sites across the UK. You’ll travel to client locations in your region, with a company van provided for efficient site visits.

In this role you’ll train operators, diagnose hardware and software issues, optimise routes and contribute to proof-of-concept trials. A hands-on, customer-focused engineer thrives here.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, IT or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on technical skills and confidence working with equipment.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Proactive troubleshooting and problem-solving approach.
• Good physical fitness for installations and handling equipment.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission advanced cleaning equipment and robotics.
• Deliver on-site trials, demonstrations and customer handovers.
• Train operators, supervisors and management teams to use equipment safely.
• Create site maps and optimise machine routes for efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Provide first and second-line technical support on customer sites.
• Analyse machine performance and recommend improvements.
• Carry out routine machine inspections and maintenance checks.
• Support POC projects with ATP and gloss meter testing.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
