Job summary

ICE - Industrial Cleaning Equipment is seeking a Solutions Deployment Specialist to install, configure, optimise and support cutting-edge cleaning technology at customer sites across the UK. This remote, field-based role involves travel within your local region and occasional longer journeys.

You'll be the face of ICE during deployments, delivering on-site trials, training operators and managers, diagnosing issues, and working with manufacturers and internal teams to ensure value for customers.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, IT or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on technical skills and confidence with equipment.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• A proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Good physical fitness for installations and equipment handling.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission advanced cleaning equipment and robotic solutions.
• Deliver on-site trials, demonstrations and handovers to customers.
• Train operators, supervisors and management teams to use equipment safely.
• Create site maps and optimise machine routes for efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues on-site.
• Provide first and second-line technical support at customer sites.
• Analyse machine performance and recommend improvements.
• Carry out routine maintenance checks and inspections.
• Support proof-of-concept projects with testing.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
