Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK. You will diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions, and help members get back on the road.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair
• Perform vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions
• Work independently to diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys safely
• Develop diagnostic capability with ongoing training and new equipment
