Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults, perform mechanical roadside repairs and deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions and support members to continue their journeys safely.

You’ll work independently, using the latest diagnostic tools while developing your skills within a supportive team and accredited development pathways.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to keep members moving.
• Work independently to diagnose faults while delivering excellent customer service.

Education
