RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, fix issues like flat batteries or tyre changes, and help members continue their journeys safely.

You’ll work from home base with demand-led shifts around your local area, starting and finishing at home, with a structured development programme including IMI accreditation.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults independently and help members continue their journeys safely.
