Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs and breakdown support across the UK. You’ll work from home start and finish, travel in a RAC van with fuel card, tools and diagnostic kit supplied.

You will need an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years of experience, plus 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with ≤6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years of experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Deliver quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members during breakdowns
• You will start and finish your day at home, with a RAC van, fuel card and diagnostic kit provided
