Job summary

RAC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults, perform mechanical roadside repairs, and provide emergency breakdown support across the country.

You’ll use your Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and 2+ years’ experience, hold a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points, and work from home with an RAC van, fuel card, uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience in roadside mechanical work.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Resolve faults and support members with confident, courteous service.
