Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to keep the UK moving. You’ll operate in your local area, start and finish at home, and perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support with the RAC van and kit provided.

You’ll need either an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience, or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, plus a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home and operate within your local area, with an RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided
