Job summary

RAC is seeking a skilled Roadside Technician in the UK to perform diagnostics, roadside repairs and emergency breakdown support. You’ll be equipped with a dedicated RAC van, tools and diagnostic kit, starting and finishing from home and serving members across the country.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years’ experience, you’ll join a trusted team delivering fast, confident solutions on the roadside while upholding RAC’s standards of member service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on while providing excellent member service.
• You’ll work with an RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit provided by RAC.
