Job summary

RAC is seeking a skilled Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll deliver diagnostics, roadside repairs and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing your day from home and serving members in your local area.

Bring 2+ years with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician, plus a full UK licence with <6 points. You’ll receive a provided RAC van, fuel card, uniform and tools to help you excel.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home, travelling to local areas to assist members.
• Utilise your tools, diagnostic kit and knowledge to resolve faults quickly and confidently.
