Job summary
The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and support breakdown emergencies across the UK, delivering quick, confident solutions while staying calm under pressure.
You’ll work from a home base servicing local areas with around 40 hours per week and optional overtime. A Level 2 qualification and a full UK driving licence are required.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
- Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK
- Assist members with emergencies and ensure quick, confident solutions
