Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll be responsible for expert roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency support across the UK, starting from home and ending your day at your local area RAC van base.

You’ll receive a full diagnostic kit, tools, fuel card, and uniform. Competitive base pay with attractive OTE, plus share schemes and generous holidays, with progression and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in vehicle repair.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and emergency breakdown support.
• Perform vehicle diagnostics and fault finding on-site.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members.
