Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and assist with emergency breakdowns while delivering high levels of member service.

You’ll start and finish at home, work around a 40-hour week with optional overtime, and receive a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, tools and diagnostic kit on day one. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or 5+ years’ experience) and a full UK licence, you’ll help

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home with a local workload.
