Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to join its Patrol division across the UK. You’ll deliver expert roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support, using your Level 2 qualification or 5+ years of experience to keep members moving.

You’ll start and finish each day at home, with your RAC van, fuel card, tools and diagnostic kit provided, and enjoy a market-competitive base salary with an attractive OTE and benefits that reward performance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs at roadside.
• Return to home base with completed tasks.
