Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division in the UK. You will diagnose faults, carry out roadside repairs, and provide emergency breakdown support while delivering excellent member service.

Start and finish from home, with a RAC van, fuel card, and full diagnostic tools provided to help you stay mobile and effective on every call. We offer a strong base salary (£36,400) plus an realistic OTE (£61,000) with overtime and bonuses, and a culture that rewards experience and

Qualifications

• A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent), with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
• A customer-focused approach
• A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Provide expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
• Diagnose faults and perform vehicle repairs on site.
• Deliver quick, confident solutions to members' breakdowns.
• Coordinate with RAC van, fuel card and tools provided.
