Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform diagnostic and repair work across the UK. You will be part of the Patrol division, delivering fast, reliable roadside assistance and ensuring members are back on the road promptly.

Starting and finishing at home, you will manage on-call calls, use a RAC van and diagnostic kit, and work in a busy, varying environment with strong customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Think and act quickly to fix issues on the roadside and ensure member safety and satisfaction.
