Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division and support members across the UK. You’ll perform expert roadside repairs, diagnostics, and rapid breakdown assistance, tackling a variety of faults and incidents while delivering outstanding member service.

You’ll start and end your day at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform and diagnostic tools provided to ensure you’re ready for every call-out.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit.
