Job summary

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician and play a vital role in getting members back on the road with expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.

You will start and finish each day at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit provided, and work a demand-led schedule of ~40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home while covering local areas.
