Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver fast mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll begin and end each day at home, operating from your RAC van with full tools and support to get members back on the road.

Requirements include Level 2 light vehicle maintenance (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, a full UK driving licence, and a customer-focused approach.

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• Customer-focused approach.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish each day from home with local travel.
• Utilise provided RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit.
