Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is hiring a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish each day from home with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform and diagnostic kit provided.

With a Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification and at least two years’ post-qualification experience, you’ll handle fault finding, tyre changes, battery work, and other roadside tasks while delivering first-class member service.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Assist RAC members with fault diagnostics and rapid, confident solutions.
