Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician for the York cluster. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and at least 2 years' post-qualification experience, you will perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing at home.

You will receive your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit, with 40-hour weeks and optional overtime.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish day at home and manage calls with efficiency.
