Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the York cluster, covering York, Tadcaster, Selby and nearby areas. You’ll start and end your day at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided, and focus on getting members back on the road.

You’ll perform mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency support across the UK, using your Level 2 qualification and at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support
• Diagnose faults and perform effective roadside solutions
• Start and finish days at home with provided RAC van and tools
