Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division in the UK. You’ll deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics, and breakdown support, predominantly within the York cluster, and you’ll start and finish each day from home with a RAC van and tools provided.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, you’ll combine technical skill with a strong focus on member service, working 40-hour weeks with optional overtime.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ post-qualification technical experience
• Customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Start and finish days from home; manage calls within local area
• Utilise provided RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit
