Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in the York area. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and provide emergency breakdown support across the UK. Start and finish from home with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit supplied.

Requires Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years of post-qualification experience and a full UK driving licence. Expect shift-based, demand-led work around 40 hours per week with overtime options.

• At least 2 years' post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
• Customer-focused approach
