Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to support members across the UK. You will diagnose faults, repair vehicles at the roadside and assist with emergencies, starting and ending each day from home.

A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification and 2+ years’ experience are required, along with a full UK driving licence. You'll work locally within the York cluster, covering nearby towns, and benefit from a provided RAC van, fuel card, uniform and diagnostic kit.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-qualification experience
• Customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Get members back on the road quickly and confidently
• Start and end each day from home with a RAC van and kit
