Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to serve the Scarborough cluster and surrounding areas. You’ll diagnose faults, carry out roadside repairs, and provide emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing at home with your RAC van and provided tools.

You’ll hold a Level 2 LV maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and have at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years' post-qualification technical experience.
• Customer-focused approach and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Tackle faults and repairs quickly with confidence.
• Start and finish days at home, with RAC van and tools provided.
